-	Temperatures today will back off a few degrees but remain warm with highs reaching the mid 70's to around 80 over the plains. Normal high for Denver today is 74 degrees. Winds will be picking up from the S to SW over central and southern portions of the District into the 10-20mph range with higher gusts. The warm temperatures, low relative humidity values bottoming out between 10-15% and breezy winds will result in high fire danger today.
-	Much like the past couple days conditions will be generally dry today but there will be a slight chance for isolated high-based showers and weak thunderstorms mid afternoon into early evening. Most storms will produce gusty winds and light rain or sprinkles.
-	Tonight a cold front will move through thickening and lowering the cloud cover with a chance for a few rain showers to develop before daybreak on Sunday.

STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Isolated rain showers and weak high-based thunderstorms will produce a trace to 0.10".

A LOOK AHEAD: Much cooler Sunday with highs in the 50's to lower 60's. There will be a chance for rain showers Sunday morning with widespread to numerous rain showers and embedded thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Much needed rainfall is expected over the District from midday Sunday into Monday morning with preliminary amounts of 0.50-1.50" looking common at this time.
