MESSAGES HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THE ENTIRE DISTRICT
-Message 1's have been issued for the entire District until 10:00pm.
-A gust front from the south is triggering thunderstorms across the District at this time. Storms are pulse-type in nature, but storms motions are slow and erratic which will result in a threat for heavy rainfall and excessive runoff.
-Additional storms could be triggered across the District by outflow boundaries through the late afternoon hours and into the evening. The best chance of storms will continue into the early evening hours before activity gradually tapers off after sunset.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Thunderstorms will be capable of producing rainfall of 0.3-0.8" in 10-30 minutes.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A strong thunderstorm stalls over an area and produces heavy rainfall of up to 1.7" in 60-90 minutes.
