-Warmer and drier air is moving into the District today effectively removing any chance for shower or thunderstorm activity. Skies will be sunny to mostly sunny with temperatures climbing into the mid and upper 90's for highs. An isolated 100 degree reading cannot be ruled out! Record high for Denver today is 99 degrees set back in 1980 and has an outside chance of being reached at DIA.

A LOOK AHEAD: Generally dry conditions expected again on Saturday with a slight chance for an afternoon thunderstorm over the higher terrain and Palmer Divide. Temperatures will continue to be hot with highs again in the mid to upper 90's for highs over the plains.
