HOT, DRY AND CONTINUED HAZY CONDITIONS TODAY
-Conditions will be hot and dry over the District today with temperatures peaking in the mid to upper 90's over the plains with 80's along the Front Range foothills.
-Skies are expected to be mostly sunny with continued hazy skies due to multiple wildfires in the high country and even smoke/haze due to wildfires as far as California. When temperatures are at or near their peak RH values will bottom out at around 10% keeping the fire danger high locally.
-Overnight temperatures will drop in the 60's across the plains with upper 50's along the foothills.

A LOOK AHEAD: Hot, hazy and dry conditions will continue through the weekend with temperatures remaining above average in the mid to upper 90's both Saturday and Sunday. A slight shift in the overall pattern starting early next week with a slight chance for afternoon rain/isolated thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday as high temperatures will stay in the 90's.
