DRY WITH NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES
-Ridge of high pressure aloft will build over the District today resulting in warming temperatures and dry conditions. Highs this afternoon are expected to reach the lower 80's over the plains with 70's in the Front Range foothills. Normal high for Denver today is 81 degrees.
-Skies will be sunny this morning with a few fair weather clouds developing this afternoon making for mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies late. No precipitation is expected.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No precipitation expected today or tonight.

A LOOK AHEAD: Temperatures will continue to climb on Friday with many areas on the plains reaching or exceeding 90 degrees. Moisture will be increasing from the S and there may be a few isolated mid to late afternoon thunderstorms favoring the foothills and Palmer Divide, but most areas will be dry. Scattered thunderstorms are expected on Saturday afternoon and early evening producing gusty winds and light to moderate rainfall. Heavy rainfall is not expected at this time.
