-	The trough of low pressure that impacted Northern Colorado yesterday is now moving east of the area, and a much drier airmass has spread into the District behind the trough.
-	A cold front moved through last night, ushering in a welcome shot of cooler air with lows this morning in the upper 40s to low 50s across the plains. Mostly sunny skies and pleasant conditions can be expected this afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 70s on the plains.
-	Mostly clear skies can be expected tonight with lows falling into the upper 40s to low 50s again on the plains.

STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No rainfall is expected today or tonight.

A LOOK AHEAD: The dry pattern will continue through the weekend as high pressure strengthens over Colorado. This will also result in above average temperatures returning to the region. The next chance of measurable rainfall in the District will be around the middle of next week as a trough of low pressure approaches from the west.
