WARMER AND DRY TODAY
-High-pressure will start to build over the region today bringing sunny, dry conditions over the next couple of days.
-Temperatures today will reach the mid 70's to around 80 degrees this afternoon along the plains with low to mid 70's along the foothills. Dew points are currently in the low 30's and will stay in the low 30's throughout the day and into the evening.
-A mild overnight as low temperatures fall into the low 50's across the plains with mid to upper 40's in the foothills. Thursday will warm up quickly with high temperatures expected in the low to mid 80's along with continued dry conditions.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No rainfall is expected today.

A LOOK AHEAD: high-pressure will continue to hold through the weekend resulting in warmer temperatures Friday and Saturday with highs in the upper 80's to low 90's. A very slight chance Friday for some foothills rain showers/isolated thunderstorms, but any rain moving onto the plains looks unlikely. A better chance for rain showers/isolated thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday afternoon although no heavy rainfall threat at this time.
