MESSAGE 1'S ISSUED FOR S/SW AREAS OF THE DISTRICT WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE AT 9PM
-Message 1's issued for Arapahoe, Douglas and Jefferson Counties will be allowed to expire at 9:00pm as the threat for heavy rainfall has ended for the day.
-Rain shower activity has shifted far enough south that the threat for heavy rainfall has ended and the chances for rain overall has diminished significantly over the District. An isolated rain shower will continue possible into the overnight period but no significant accumulation is expected.
-Relatively cool temperatures again on Monday will result in a better chance for showers versus thunderstorms despite plentiful moisture available with only a low threat for heavy rainfall expected at this time. Highs Monday in the upper 70's to lower 80's across the plains.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Rain showers if they develop will produce a trace to 0.2" of rain in 10-30 minutes Supplemental QPF is available at https://qpf.udfcd.org
