MESSAGES HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THE ENTIRE DISTRICT UNTIL 2:00AM TUESDAY
-Message 1's have been issued for the entire District until 2:00am Tuesday.
-A cold front moved through the District this evening and has triggered a round of moderate to strong thunderstorms. Although storms are moving relatively quickly to the N/NE at around 15-20mph, enough low level moisture is in place to result in a threat for brief heavy rainfall.
-Storms capable of heavy rainfall will continue possible over the next couple of hours, before tapering off to lighter showers and weak thunderstorms for the remainder of the overnight period.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Typical weak to moderate thunderstorms will produce rainfall of 0.1-0.3" in 10-30 minutes. Strong thunderstorms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall of 0.3-0.8" in 10-30 minutes.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: Training of thunderstorm cells results in heavy rainfall of up to 1.2" in 45-60 minutes.
