DRY WITH ANOTHER RECORD HIGH TO BE SET TODAY?
-Near record breaking heat expected again today as a flat ridge of high pressure remains over the state. Highs this afternoon will reach the upper 80's to around 90 over the plains under a thin veil of clouds along with some haze for much of the day. Record high for Denver today is 89 degrees, last set back in 1992 and may be tied or broken.
-Conditions will be dry statewide with breezy winds at times in the 5-15mph range with gusts to 20mph or more. Winds will be stronger in the Front Range foothills and with low RH values the fire danger will be high today.

A LOOK AHEAD: Another unseasonably warm, dry and breezy day on Saturday with temperatures once again reaching the upper 80's to around 90 over the plains. Conditions will be dry with high fire danger due to low RH values and breezy winds.
