MESSAGE 1'S ISSUED FOR THE ENTIRE DISTRICT
-Message 1's have been issued for the entire District and will be valid through 9:00 PM. Surface moisture has increased behind a cold front that moved through earlier today capping temperatures but enough daytime heating has occurred to result in isolated strong to severe thunderstorms. Best chances for thunderstorms into the evening will be over central and northern areas of the District.
-Thunderstorms will move fairly quickly from WSW to ENE at 20-25mph helping to reduce point rainfall amounts from a single storm. Training of thunderstorm cells or a slower moving thunderstorm may result in a period of heavier rain that could lead to excessive runoff. Large hail and potentially some accumulating hail may occur under strong to severe thunderstorm cells.
-Towards sunset as temperatures cool the threat for thunderstorms will end but isolated to widely scattered rain showers will continue possible overnight.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Weak to moderate thunderstorms will produce 0.1-0.3" in 10-30 minutes. Strong thunderstorms will have the potential to produce 0.3-0.8" in 10-30 minutes.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: Training of strong thunderstorms may produce up to 1.4" of rain in 45-75 minutes.
