-Message 1's have been issued for the entire District and will be valid until 8:00pm.
-Thunderstorms have developed over portions of the District this afternoon and may become enhanced by a boundary moving in from the N increasing surface moisture. Strong thunderstorms will have the potential to produce brief heavy rainfall and large hail. Storms will be isolated in nature and not everyone will experience a storm today. Strongest storms will favor E areas of the District.
-Storm motions are generally from W to E at around 10-15mph, but stronger storms may move more erratically. Best chances for thunderstorms will be through 7:00pm this evening.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Moderate to strong thunderstorms will have the potential to produce 0.3-0.8" of rain in 10-30 mintues. Supplemental QPF is available at https://qpf.udfcd.org

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A large slower moving thunderstorm or training of thunderstorm cells may produce rainfall amounts of up to 1.6" in 45-60 minutes.
