-	SW upper-level flow aloft continues today resulting in hot, breezy and dry conditions on the plains as high temperatures reach the low to mid 90's today. Slight cooler along the foothills in the mid to upper 80's with a slight chance for and isolated high-based thunderstorm this afternoon and early evening.
-	Mostly cloudy skies this morning with clouds decreasing on the plains this afternoon. Weak rain showers/isolated thunderstorms could develop along the foothills between 1-3pm and should remain anchored to the foothills with any storm activity on the plains quickly mixing out.
-	A weak cold front will move in overnight dropping lows in to the low to mid 50's on the plains with upper 40's to low 50's in the foothills. Cooler temperatures are expected Tuesday along with a slight chance for an afternoon rain shower/isolated thunderstorm with no threat for heavy rainfall at this time.

STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Weak thunderstorms will produce a trace to 0.1" in 10-30 minutes.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A Moderate thunderstorm will have the potential to produce 0.1-0.2" in 10-30 minutes

A LOOK AHEAD: Cooler temperatures over the next couple of days before high-pressure begins to build back over the region Wednesday evening. high temperatures will return to the low 90's Thursday and Friday along with a slight chance for afternoon evening rain showers/isolated thunderstorms with the best chance for storms Friday afternoon and evening.
