MESSAGE 1'S ISSUED FOR THE ENTIRE DISTRICT
-Message 1's have been issued for the entire District and will be valid from Noon to Midnight.
-Rain shower and thunderstorm activity will begin to develop between Noon and 1:00 PM over the foothills to the W of the District. Multiple waves of showers and thunderstorms will then move through the District through the afternoon and evening. Strong thunderstorms will be very capable of producing heavy rainfall with slower moving large thunderstorm clusters and training of thunderstorm cells potentially producing extended periods of heavy rain.
-Showers and thunderstorms will move from SW to NE at around 15mph. Stronger storms may move more slowly or erratically at times. Best chances for moderate to heavy precipitation will be through 11:00 PM.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Weak to moderate thunderstorms will produce 0.1-0.6" in 10-30 minutes. Strong thunderstorms will produce 0.6-1.8" in 10-30 minutes.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A slower moving large thunderstorm complex or training of strong thunderstorm cells may produce up to 3.2" in 60-90 minutes.
