-Temperatures will warm to above normal with readings in the upper 80's and lower 90's over the plains with 70's and 80's in the Front Range foothills. Normal high for Denver today is 83 degrees.
-Skies will be sunny with some continued haze due to smoke from wildfires. Winds will be light and variable, generally less than 10mph.

A LOOK AHEAD: Record heat can be expected over the weekend with temperatures in the 90's to around 100 degrees over the plains. A strong and unseasonably cold storm system then looks to move into the area late Monday into Tuesday with rain showers developing Monday evening and temperatures becoming cold enough for the seasons first snow overnight into the day Tuesday!
