- | Message 1's have been cancelled and Message 4's have been issued as the threat for heavy rainfall has ended over the District. |
- | A strong, slow moving thunderstorm set up early this afternoon around the Chatfield Reservoir area of Jefferson and Douglas Counties but additional thunderstorm activity has remained rather weak and limited to southern areas of the District. Additional, isolated light rain showers and possibly a weak thunderstorm will remain possible through about sunset. |
- | With daytime heating past its peak and surface dew points in the low to mid 40's, it's safe to say that the potential for heavy rainfall has ended. |
A LOOK AHEAD: Temperatures will continue to climb on Friday with highs in the mid to upper 90's over the plains. There will be enough mid and upper level moisture for isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the afternoon but with surface moisture on the decrease the threat for heavy rainfall looks to be quite low at this time.
