DRY WITH RECORD BREAKING HEAT
-Conditions over the District today will be completely dry under sunny to mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will warm to record levels with many areas on the plains reaching or exceeding 100 degrees. Record high for Denver today is 99 set back in 1998.
-Tonight conditions will remain dry area wide with lows bottoming out in the 60's.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No precipitation today or tonight.

A LOOK AHEAD: Another hot day on Friday with temperatures topping out either side of 100 degrees over the plains. A cold front will move through on Saturday afternoon resulting in cooler temperatures and a return of thunderstorm activity to the District.
