We previously determined that street and small stream flooding is

FOUR MILE BURN AREA AFFECTED), JEFFERSON, BROOMFIELD, DOUGLAS, ADAMS,
DENVER, ARAPAHOE
including: DIA, THE CITY OF AURORA, ARVADA, WHEAT RIDGE, LAKEWOOD

Forecast rainfall: Typical showers/thunderstorms will produce a

thunderstorm will produce 0.75” to 1.25” total in 10 to 30
minutes.

ARAPAHOE
including: DIA, THE CITY OF AURORA, ARVADA, WHEAT RIDGE, LAKEWOOD

. THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BOULDER HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WATCH FOR
THE ENTIRE DISTRICT WHICH INCLUDES THE THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING FROM
NOON UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.
Prime time for flooding: 200 PM
to 1000 PM

Forecast rainfall: Weak to moderate thunderstorms will produce
rainfall rates of 0.2-0.8” in 10-30 minutes. Strong thunderstorms
will have the potential to produce rainfall rates of 0.8-2.0” of
rain in 10-30 minutes. A slow moving strong thunderstorm or training
of thunderstorm cells may result in up to 3.5” of rain in 60-90
minutes.
