including: the City of Aurora

Prime time for flooding: Current to 515 PM.

Forecast rainfall: Moderate to strong thunderstorms will have the potential to produce 0.4-1.2" of heavy rain
in 10-30 minutes. A large, slower moving thunderstorm or training of thunderstorm cells will have the
potential to produce up to 2.0" of rain in 45-75 minutes.

The most likely areas to be impacted by flooding are:
X Urban streams/gulches; road crossings; recreational trails; adjacent open space areas/campgrounds/parks; floodplain properties; utilities
X Urban streets, intersections, low lying areas, known trouble spots

LIF includes areas along and W of Hwy 85 in Adams County. Strong thunderstorms may also contain large hail, gusty winds and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning.
