PRIORITY DISSEMINATION RECOMMENDED

We have determined that low impact flooding is likely in Arapahoe County
including: the City of Aurora

from: Current to 345 PM.
Prime time for flooding: Current to 315 PM.

Forecast rainfall: Strong thunderstorms will have the potential to produce 0.3-0.8" of rain in 10-30 minutes. A slow moving thunderstorm or training of thunderstorm cells may result in up to 1.5" of rain in 45-60 minutes.

The most likely areas to be impacted by flooding are:

X Urban streams/gulches; road crossings; recreational trails; adjacent open space areas/campgrounds/parks; floodplain properties; utilities

X Urban streets, intersections, low lying areas, known trouble spots

Additional Information: Excessive runoff is imminent or already occurring. Includes Arapahoe County and portions of the City of Aurora. Strong thunderstorms may also contain large hail, gusty winds in excess of 60mph, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning and possibly an isolated tornado.
