We have determined that street and small stream flooding is possible in the following counties: Arapahoe, Denver, Adams, Douglas, Broomfield, Jefferson, Boulder (City of Boulder affected, Four Mile Burn Area affected)
including: DIA, the City of Aurora, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood from: Current to 1000 PM.
Prime time for flooding: 400 PM to 900 PM. Forecast rainfall: Thunderstorms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall of 0.4-1.0" in 10-30 minutes. The most likely areas to be impacted by flooding are:

X Urban streams/gulches; road crossings; recreational trails; adjacent open space areas/campgrounds/parks; floodplain properties; utilities

X Urban streets, intersections, low lying areas, known trouble spots

Additional Information: An anchored strong thunderstorm along the convergence line or training of strong thunderstorm cells may produce heavy rainfall of up to 2.0" in 45-75 minutes. Large hail and gusty winds will also be possible with strong/severe thunderstorm cells.
