We have determined that low impact flooding is likely in Arapahoe County
including: the City of Aurora from: Current to 530 PM.
Prime time for flooding: Current to 500 PM. Forecast rainfall: Typical showers/thunderstorms will produce 0.30-0.80" total in 10-30 minutes. Moderate to strong thunderstorms will produce rainfall rates of 0.80-1.20" total in 10-30 minutes. The most likely areas to be impacted by flooding are:

X Urban streams/gulches; road crossings; recreational trails; adjacent open space areas/campgrounds/parks; floodplain properties; utilities

X Urban streets, intersections, low lying areas, known trouble spots

Additional Information: Excessive runoff is imminent or already occurring in Arapahoe County and the City of Aurora. Strong thunderstorms may also contain large hail, gusty winds, and frequent cloud-to-ground
lightning.
