We have determined that street and small stream flooding is possible
in the following counties: ARAPAHOE, ADAMS, DENVER, DOUGLAS,
BROOMFIELD, JEFFERSON, BOULDER (CITY OF BOULDER AFFECTED)
including: LAKEWOOD, WHEAT RIDGE, ARVADA, THE CITY OF AURORA, DIA

Prime time for flooding: 100 PM
to 600 PM

Forecast rainfall: Typical showers and isolated thunderstorms will
produce a 0.25”-0.75” total in 10-30 minutes. A moderate to
strong/severe shower/thunderstorm will
produce 0.75-1.50” total in 10-30 minutes.

highways; recreational trails; adjacent open space

Additional Information: A strong, stationary thunderstorm, or training
of thunderstorm cells will have the potential to produce up to 2.25”
total in under 60 minutes.
