STREET FLOODING POTENTIAL
We have determined that street and small stream flooding is possible
in the following counties: ARAPAHOE, DENVER, ADAMS, DOUGLAS,
BROOMFIELD, JEFFERSON, BOULDER (CITY OF BOULDER AFFECTED)
including: WHEAT RIDGE, ARVADA, THE CITY OF AURORA, DIA, LAKEWOOD

Forecast rainfall: Moderate to strong thunderstorms will produce
rainfall rates of 0.30”-0.80” in 10-30 minutes.
A slow-moving thunderstorm or training of thunderstorm cells will have
the potential to produce up to 1.25” of rain in 30-60 minutes.

Additional Information: Strong thunderstorms may also contain large
hail, gusty winds, and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning. Excessive
runoff and flooding of small streams and lowlying areas may occur.
