STREET FLOODING POTENTIAL
We have determined that street and small stream flooding is possible
in the following counties: ARAPAHOE, DENVER, ADAMS, DOUGLAS,
BROOMFIELD, JEFFERSON, BOULDER (CITY OF BOULDER AFFECTED, FOUR MILE
BURN AREA AFFECTED)
including: ARVADA, THE CITY OF AURORA, DIA, WHEAT RIDGE, LAKEWOOD

Prime time for flooding: Current

Forecast rainfall: Typical thunderstorms have the potential to produce
moderate to heavy rainfall of 0.50” to 1.00” in 10-30 minutes.
Strong thunderstorms have the potential to produce very heavy rainfall
of 1.00” to 1.75” in 10-30 minutes. A stationary, or training of
moderate to strong thunderstorms has the potential to produce 2.5" in
up to 60 minutes.

hail, gusty winds, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning.
