LOW IMPACT FLOODING
PRIORITY DISSEMINATION RECOMMENDED

We have determined that low impact flooding is likely in the following counties: Boulder (City of Boulder affected, Four Mile Burn Area not affected), Broomfield
including:

from: Current to 1000 AM.
Prime time for flooding: Current to 900 AM.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Forecast rainfall: Moderate rain showers will have the potential to produce rainfall rates of 0.4-0.8" in 10-30 minutes and 1.0-1.4" in an hour. Weak thunderstorms will have the potential to produce rainfall rates of 0.4-1.2" in 10-30 minutes and up to 2" in 45-60 minutes.

The most likely areas to be impacted by flooding are:

X Urban streams/gulches; road crossings; recreational trails; adjacent open space areas/campgrounds/parks; floodplain properties; utilities

X Urban streets, intersections, low lying areas, known trouble spots

Additional Information: Excessive runoff is imminent or already occurring over portions of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. It may not take as much rain today to produce excessive runoff as the ground is saturated in many areas and smaller creeks and streams are still running high from rain yesterday and overnight.
