STREET FLOODING POTENTIAL


We have determined that street and small stream flooding is possible in the following counties: Broomfield, Adams, Denver, Arapahoe
including: DIA, the City of Aurora

from: 100 PM to 1159 PM.
Prime time for flooding: 200 PM to 1000 PM.

Forecast rainfall: Weak to moderate thunderstorms will produce rainfall rates of 0.3-0.8" in 10-30 minutes. Strong thunderstorms will have the potential to produce heavy rainfall rates of 0.8-2.2" in 10-30 minutes. Training of thunderstorm cells or a large/slower moving thunderstorm may produce up to 3.5" of rain in 45-75 minutes.

X Urban streets, intersections, low lying areas, known trouble spots
