STREET FLOODING POTENTIAL
We have determined that street and small stream flooding is possible
in the following counties: BOULDER (CITY OF BOULDER AFFECTED, FOUR
MILE BURN AREA AFFECTED), JEFFERSON, BROOMFIELD, DOUGLAS, ADAMS,
DENVER, ARAPAHOE
including: DIA, THE CITY OF AURORA, ARVADA, WHEAT RIDGE, LAKEWOOD

Prime time for flooding: 200 PM
to 900 PM

Forecast rainfall: Moderate to strong thunderstorms will have the
potential to produce rainfall rates of 0.8-2.0 in 10-30 minutes. A
large thunderstorm complex or a slower moving large thunderstorm may
result in heavy rainfall rates of 1.0-2.5" in 10-30 minutes and up to
3.5" in 45-75 minutes.

Additional Information: Message 1's will transition to Message 2's
(NWS Flood/Flash Flood Watch) for Boulder and Douglas Counties at 3:00
PM. Strong thunderstorms may also contain large hail, gusty winds and
frequent cloud-to-ground lightning.

this information along to affected emergency response organizations
(police, fire, public works, etc.) within your area.
Also, please take appropriate actions to prepare for possible
flooding.
