The National Weather Service has issued a FLASH FLOOD WARNING for
JEFFERSON COUNTY
including:

. THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
THE QUARRY BURN SCAR AREA EFFECTIVE FROM NOW UNTIL 6PM THIS EVENING.
Prime time for flooding: Current
to 530 PM

Forecast rainfall: Current rainfall between 0.30-0.40" has resulted in
Flooding over the area.

Additional explanation: xcessive rainfall over the warning area will
cause debris flows near steep terrain. The debris flow can consist of
rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
Please pass this information along to affected emergency response
organizations (police, fire, public works, etc.) within your area.
Also, please take appropriate actions to prepare for possible
flooding.
