comments: Rain began at 6:40PM and hail began at 6:55PM. Very intermittent at first and then continuous large loud and view obstructing amount of hail around 3/8". What was strange was that this storm cloud producing this didn't show as being in the area on any weather radars.

comments: Mainly a hail storm have had 6-8 this year but this was the largest hail of the season at this location, 3/4" top end maybe up to 1.0" but isolated larger stones and I did not go out during event so they experienced some melt. 1" likely top end, larger than 1" not likely.

comments: I was not home at the time, my husband was. I arrived home ~40 minutes later. Most of the hail was gone by then. There was ~1/4 inch depth in the grass in a 4" swath on the north side of the fence and more around downspouts from the roof on the north and west side of the house. I noticed mostly white hail with some all clear (5%) and some white centers and and clear outer ring(5%). He said the hail lasted 20 minutes as an estimate. He said 0.5" of rain came in 10 minutes and since he took spotter training, he called that and the hail in to the NWS Boulder office at 3:04 PM. I estimated the start time of the hail/rain at 2:55.
