URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Denver CO
900 PM MST Mon Feb 3 2020
...WINTER WEATHER WARNINGS AND ADVISORIES Extended THROUGH
TUESDAY AFTERNOON...
.The winter storm moving over Colorado this evening is now being
forecast to stay over the state through Tuesday afternoon. This
will allow the storm to produce snowfall over north central and
northeast Colorado for several more hours than previously
forecast. As light to moderate snow continues overnight, snow-
covered roads will be the result. The Tuesday morning commute
promises to be a slow because of slippery, snow-covered roads and
possibly poor visibility due to falling snow. Improving conditions
are not expected until Tuesday afternoon. As the storm moves out
Tuesday night, the coldest temperatures of the week are expected
Wednesday morning. Residents who have to travel Tuesday morning should
give themselves plenty of extra time.
