At 831 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Highland Center, or 18 miles southwest of Holyoke,
moving northeast at 30 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Holyoke, Paoli, Fairfield, Amherst, Highland Center and Pleasant
Valley.

At 533 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles northwest of St Petersburg to near Lone
Star to 5 miles northeast of Anton, or along a line extending from 16
miles east of Sterling to 19 miles northwest of Yuma to 36 miles
north of Flagler. Movement was east at 25 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms along
with brief heavy rain and small hail.
Locations impacted include...
Akron, Haxtun, Otis, Paoli, Arickaree School, St Petersburg, Highland
Center, Elba, Platner, Burdett, Fairfield and Lone Star.

.A strong ridge of high pressure to our south combined with an
increase in westerly flow aloft will bring higher fire danger to
much of the area Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds will increase late
Tuesday and remain gusty at times Wednesday. The winds will
combine with much above normal temperatures and low humidity
readings each afternoon.

HUMIDITY is in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday
evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 211...213 and 217.
* Winds...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
