* Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Phillips County in northeastern Colorado...
* Until 900 AM MDT Thursday.
* At 349 PM MDT, local authorities reported flooding continuing over
southwest Phillips county, primarily in the Sandy Creek and Patent
Creek drainages. Numerous roads were closed, and some had severe
erosion. The area of flooding is generally south of County Road 16
and west of County Road 31. The flooding is expected to diminish
very slowly overnight.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Highland Center.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. Do not drive on flooded roads, and do not drive
around barriers into closed areas.
