expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following
county, Phillips.
* WHEN...Until 245 AM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1145 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Wildhorse Creek and Frenchman Creek.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Pleasant Valley and Amherst.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

Phillips County in northeastern Colorado...
* Until 1115 PM MDT.
* At 1029 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles south of
Paoli, or 9 miles southwest of Holyoke, moving east at 20 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR southern Phillips county.
HAZARD...Three inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.

Holyoke and Pleasant Valley.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
