Akron, moving southeast at 35 mph.
Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Otis, Arickaree School, Elba and Platner.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

at 15 mph.

this storm.

thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1.5
and 2 inches of rain have fallen.

Hyde.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Jack Creek, Brunker Creek and Surveyor Creek.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of

At 434 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles north of Fleming to 13 miles south of
Otis, or along a line extending from 21 miles northeast of Sterling
to 15 miles southwest of Yuma. Movement was east at 20 mph.
Penny size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Otis, Fleming, St Petersburg, Proctor, Burdett, Platner and Lone
Star.

...Brief Landspout Tornado Sighted...
At 424 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported a landspout tornado
over northeast Washington county. Conditions continue to favor the
potential for landspouts as storms develop; however at this time it
is unknown which if any storm would produce a landspout. Any
landspouts which develop are expected to pose a limited threat.
Locations impacted include...
Lone Star and Burdett.
Landspout tornadoes can form with a developing thunderstorm before
rain, hail, and even thunder is observed. Landspout tornadoes are not
usually associated with a wall cloud and are often difficult to
detect with weather radar.
