inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing

* At 437 PM MDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado
was located 6 miles north of Elba, or 8 miles south of Akron, and
is nearly stationary.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado 6 miles north of Elba.
IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 402 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
