At 156 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
capable of producing a landspout tornado 5 miles southwest of
Westplains, or 25 miles northwest of Sterling, moving north at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Landspouts possible.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Landspout tornadoes can damage mobile homes, roofs,
vehicles, and trees. Outdoor objects may be tossed about.
Locations impacted include...
Northern Sterling, Grover, Keota, Padroni, Westplains, Hereford,

capable of producing a landspout tornado 9 miles northeast of
Rockport, or 13 miles southeast of Cheyenne, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Landspouts possible, winds in excess of 40 mph, and pea
size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Landspout tornadoes can damage mobile homes, roofs,
vehicles, and trees. Outdoor objects may be tossed about.
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
