* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...South Platte River near Weldona.
* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, The river is out of its banks and into
fields and meadows.
At 10.0 feet, There is widespread lowland and meadow flooding.
Irrigation works are impacted.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM MDT Friday the stage was 7.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to decrease over the next
12 hours but then rise again above action stage Saturday. The
river will continue to rise through early next week.
Additional wide spread heavy rain today could bring the crest
near flood stage by Monday.
- Action stage is 8.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern Weld
and Morgan Counties through 700 PM MDT...
At 559 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Milton Reservoir, or 14 miles southeast of Greeley, moving southeast
at 20 mph. Additional storms will continue to develop across
southeast Weld and Morgan counties through 7 pm.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Greeley, Fort Morgan, Evans, Lochbuie, Eaton, Hudson, LaSalle,
Kersey, Keenesburg, Wiggins, Log Lane Village, Weldona, Twelve-Mile
Corner, Orchard, Riverside Reservoir, Milton Reservoir, Lucerne,
Goodrich, Roggen and Hoyt.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, There is minor overbank flow into low lying
areas along the Cache La Poudre River between Windsor and Greeley.
At 7.5 feet, Sections of the Poudre River Trail begin to overtop
from Windsor to Greeley.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 PM MDT Thursday the stage was 7.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady
overnight. the will rise in response to additional rainfall
on Friday. The river will fall below 7.0 feet late Sunday.
- Action stage is 7.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
