STREET FLOODING POTENTIAL
We have determined that street and small stream flooding is possible
in the following counties: ARAPAHOE, DENVER, ADAMS, DOUGLAS,
BROOMFIELD, JEFFERSON, BOULDER (CITY OF BOULDER AFFECTED)
including: THE CITY OF AURORA, DIA, ARVADA, WHEAT RIDGE, LAKEWOOD

Prime time for flooding: 100 PM
to 900 PM

Forecast rainfall: Typical showers or weak thunderstorm will produce a
0.20”-0.60” total in 10-30 minutes. A moderate shower/thunderstorm
will produce 0.60”-1.20” total in 10-30 minutes.
An anchored moderate thunderstorm, or training of moderate
showers/thunderstorms will have the potential to produce up to 2.40”
in under 60 minutes.

Additional Information: Strong thunderstorms may also contain hail,
gusty winds, and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning. Excessive runoff
and flooding of small streams and low-lying areas may occur.
