.An area of snow showers will move across the northeast Colorado
plains this morning, with most of the showers passing between
Sterling and Akron and the northeast corner and another area of
accumulating snow over northern Larimer county. Light snow showers
will also continue over the northern Colorado mountains today. The
showers on the plains will diminish from west to east this
afternoon. Snow will increase in the mountains overnight, with
another round of mainly light snow on the plains during the day
Sunday.

.Storm systems approaching the region will be responsible for
several rounds of snowfall in the mountains starting Friday
afternoon extending onto portions of the northern and eastern plains
by Saturday morning. The heaviest snow across the plains is expected
to fall overnight into early Saturday morning. Expect slick roads
