...SNOW WILL CONTINUE OVER THE HIGH COUNTRY OF NORTH CENTRAL
COLORADO...
.A prolonged snowstorm will continue over the Colorado mountains
today and tonight. Light to moderate snow is expected in the north
central mountains into Wednesday morning. The greatest snowfall is
expected tonight in the high mountains north of I-70. Travel
through the mountains will be significantly impacted from these
passing storms. Stay tuned for additional updates.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 12 inches
expected. Snow could be heavy at times in associated with
thunderstorms.
* WHERE...Rabbit Ears Pass and Rocky Mountain National Park and
the Medicine Bow Range.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM MDT Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

Snowfall in the north central mountains, high valleys and
foothills has decreased this morning so the Winter Weather
Warnings and Advisories have been allowed to expire. More, light
to moderate, snow can be expected to fall today and tonight, with
the high mountains north of I-70 expecting the most.
