...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southwestern Douglas,
east central Park and southwestern Jefferson Counties through 230 PM
MDT...
At 159 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
capable of producing a landspout tornado along a line extending from
6 miles south of Shawnee to near Westcreek, or along a line extending
from 86 miles southwest of Greeley to 28 miles northwest of Colorado
Springs. Movement was east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Landspouts possible, wind gusts up to 50 mph, and nickel
size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Landspout tornadoes can damage mobile homes, roofs,
vehicles, and trees. Outdoor objects may be tossed about.
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Buffalo Creek, Devil's Head, Wellington Lake, Pine Grove, Cheesman
Reservoir, Deckers and Perry Park.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
If a tornado is spotted seek shelter inside a sturdy building.
