...MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW FOR THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS...
.A strong Pacific system will push over the area today bringing
colder temperatures and lowering snow levels. The snow line will
lower to near 7500 feet over northern Colorado and around 8500
along I-70. Flow will favor heavier amounts along the Front Range
Mountains.

16 inches expected.
* WHERE...Rocky Mountain National Park and the Medicine Bow
Range.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to midnight MDT Tuesday night.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult as roads
become slushy tonight, then snowpacked by early morning. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commutes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
