At 638 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 3 miles north of Highland Park to 4 miles south of Tarryall Reservoir, or along a line extending from 34 miles west of Denver to 48 miles northwest of Colorado Springs.
