...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MOUNTAINS AND NORTHERN PLAINS...
.Storm systems approaching the region will be responsible for
several rounds of snowfall in the mountains starting Friday
afternoon extending onto portions of the northern and eastern plains
by Saturday morning. The heaviest snow across the plains is expected
to fall overnight into early Saturday morning. Expect slick roads
across the area Saturday morning.

Winds during heaviest snowfall gusting to 25 mph and gusting up to
35 mph in the afternoon.
* WHERE...The Northern Front Range Foothills, Fort Collins,
Briggsdale, and Greeley.
* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 11 AM MST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on
slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow are possible

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 10 and 20
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Rabbit Ears Pass, Rocky Mountain National Park and the
Medicine Bow Range, and The Mountains of Summit County, the
Mosquito Range, and the Indian Peaks.
* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 5 AM MST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel
could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Friday evening commute.
