At 123 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
northern Centennial, or 11 miles southeast of Denver, moving
northeast at 15 mph. Other isolated showers under the advisory will
be capable of these strong winds.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Southern Denver, Aurora, eastern Centennial, Parker, Greenwood
Village, Bennett, Watkins, Manila Village, Arapahoe Park, Strasburg
and Buckley AFB.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
