...SNOWFALL IN THE COLORADO MOUNTAINS TONIGHT...
.A late Spring weather system will move over Colorado tonight and
Tuesday morning with cold enough temperatures to produce snowfall
in the mountains. Snow levels are expected to drop as low as 7500
feet by Tuesday morning with accumulating snowfall above 9000
feet. Roadways will become slippery and slushy by Tuesday morning
and snow falling on trees in full leaf may cause branches to break
or other tree damage. The storm system will be moving out of the
state by Tuesday afternoon with snowfall ending and conditions
improving.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8
inches...mainly above 10,000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 40
mph.
* WHERE...Rabbit Ears Pass, Rocky Mountain National Park and the
Medicine Bow Range and The Mountains of Summit County, the
Mosquito Range, and the Indian Peaks.
* WHEN...Until noon MDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.

* At 232 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Cowdrey to near Berthoud Pass to 10 miles
northwest of Guffey, or along a line extending from 51 miles
southwest of Laramie to 43 miles west of Denver to 36 miles north
of Hayden Pass Burn Scar, moving northeast at 65 mph.
These are very dangerous storms.
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
