URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
158 PM MDT Wed Oct 2 2019
...VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER CONTINUES ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND HIGH
VALLEYS THIS AFTERNOON AND FRIDAY...
.Strong winds and humidities dropping below 10 percent will
produce very high fire danger over most of the central and
northern Colorado mountains through early evening.
The fire danger will remain elevated through much of this week
and through the weekend, with occasional bouts of gusty winds,
low humidity, and no meaningful precipitation. At this time it
looks like the most dangerous conditions will be on Friday when
even stronger winds are expected.
