At 1010 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Fort Collins to 3 miles north of Johnstown, or
along a line extending from 42 miles southwest of Cheyenne to 10
miles west of Greeley. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
Nickel size hail will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland, Windsor, Johnstown, Wellington,
Milliken, Berthoud, Eaton, Severance, Ault, Pierce, Timnath, Nunn,
Purcell, Carr, Teds Place, Bellvue and Lucerne.

A strong cold front will move over northeast Colorado during the
evening hours which will be followed by strong northerly winds
that last through much of tonight. The cold front may also
produce areas of dust as it rolls southward. Visibilities could
drop to a mile or less at times. Motorists should use caution if
driving in the strong winds tonight. Winds will gradually
decrease overnight, but will remain breezy through much of
Tuesday as the upper level storm system moves slowly out of the
state.

thunderstorm along a line extending from 4 miles northwest of
Boulder to near White Ranch Open Space, or along a line extending
from 34 miles south of Fort Collins to 17 miles west of Denver.
Movement was east at 30 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.
