thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
1 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen.

heavy rain over the Cameron Peak Burn Scar. Up to 0.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms in and around
the Cameron Peak Burn Scar.

At 139 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles east of Pinecliffe, or 25 miles northwest of Denver, moving
northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Northwestern Arvada, Boulder, Louisville, Wallstreet, Salina,

* Until 1145 PM MDT.
* At 848 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over the Cameron Peak Burn Scar. Between 0.2 and 0.4
inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1
inch in 30 minutes. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.5
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar may result in debris flow
moving through the Upper Buckhorn and Lower Buckhorn Creek drainage.
The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose
materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding in and around the Cameron
Peak Burn Scar.
